Inorganic nanoparticles were used as reinforcing fillers of neoprene. The effects of the physical characters of inorganic nanoparticles, dosage and surface modification on the neoprene and its regulations were studied. Therefore , XRD, TEM and FTIR is used to measure their properties.The interaction forms and the interaction mechanism between rubber and nanoparticles is discussed thoroughly in macrocosmic and microcosmic aspects. The relationships among bound rubber , vulcanizate physical volume fraction and self-recover ability is explained.The results showed that nanosilica and nanotitania modified with Si-75 can markedly improve the fatigue life of the neoprene. In the meantime other properties were also improved obviously.
