According to the domestic and international research of grading design and related indexes to SMA and analyzing the advantage and disadvantage of SMA design methodthe paper researched aggregate density, grading design, volume indexes and performance evaluation indexes of bituminous mixture in heavy and serious overload region, the new aggregate gradation, volume indexes and performance evaluation indexes were presented for the sake of increasing anti-transform permanent in serious overload region.By checking the domestic and international documentation on coarse aggregate framework, the paper presented fine aggregate framework firstly basing on grading filler theory. Furthermore,a multilevel dense built-in grading was designed and examinated by Bailey method for gradation design and evaluation. Finally, the formula of changing i method and value area of i were put forward to design the multilevel dense built-in grading.Presently the calculation formula of Gmm is unreliable,so the paper presented a reasonable experiment and calculation method-Based on studying experiment methods of the compacted asphalt mixture density in popular specification a new mathematics method and judgement standard was presented to select different experiment methods for different densities, and a correlation coefficient was introduced to judge the reasonability of experiments for the first time.By studying the reasonability of rutting evaluation index and permeability experiment in popular specification, the DCS,a new index was presented to evaluate the anti-rutting function firstly, and at the same time the reasonability was argued about the jelly-melt and split experiment of marshall sample in a certain situation to evaluate the anti-permenbility of bituminous mixture.
