Information processing techniques in modern science are inclining to high speed, real-time and automatization. Light as a new carrier of information provides wide bandwidth and multiple channels which can satisfy requires of the information processing. Optical information processing technique is used widely as an important information processing technique.Optical tweezers and optical spanner use forces exerted by intensity gradients in a strongly focused beam of light to trap and move a microscopic volume of matter. Optical tweezers offer convenient, non-invasive access to processes at the matter. The real-time dynamic optical field is needed in both optical tweezers and optical spanner. With the changing of the optical field the optical trap can trapping, moving or rotating the matter. So the dynamic optical wavefront transforming is an important subject of research in the field of optical micromanipulations.Based on the flexibility of the Computer-Generated Holograms (CGH) and new photoelectric devices such as LCD and CCD, we design a system controlled by computer that can achieve the real-time wavefront transformation. Both the theoretical analysis and experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of this system. This work can be seen as the foundation of the optical tweezers. The whole paper is divided into three chapters.Chapter 1: The history and the main developments of the Computer-Generated Holography are reviewed. Some new applications of the wavefront transformation are also summarized. In addition, the main contents and the research results of this thesis are given.Chapter 2: At first, we introduce the sampling theory, which is the foundation of the Computer-Generated Holography. Then we describe some conventionalAbstractencoding method of the computer-generated hologram (CGH). Secondly, we simulated the encoding algorithms of the CGH with the help of software named Matlab. After we got the CGHs, we can use computer to simulate the reconstruction of the CGHs and get the simulated results. At the same time, we have also realized their experimental optical reconstructions with the help of our LCD-CCD wavefront transforming system described in chapter three. Chapter 3: In order to satisfy the need for dynamic wavefront transformation, we set up an experimental system called Dynamic Holographic System, with which we can realize some typical experiments about computer-generated holography and digital holography. We describe the hardware components, the controlling software and the operating steps of the system. After that we give two examples to confirm the maneuverability and practicability of the system we designed.
