The ramjet engine has many advantages such as simple structure, light weight, little volume, big ratio of pushing and gravity, low cost, and etc, so it will be the first choosing power installation of the long-distance and beyond long-distance cannonball of improved range. The inlet is one pivotal component of the ramjet engine, and the numerical simulation of its flow field is becoming more and more important and has scientific significance and practical values.In this paper the fluent software is used to simulate the inlet's flow field at a variety of working circumstances, the velocity vectors, the pressure contours, Mach number contours of the inlet's flow field, and the gradual change picture of the expand segment of the inlet are given. And then the influence of the inlet flow's Mach, the outlet pressure, angle, high velocity to the structure and major performance parameter of inlet's flow field are analyzed. The conclusions and method of this paper can be helpful to design the inlet of improved range's cannonball theoretically and technologically.
