This paper describes a new method of the Artificial Neutral Network in the Active filters, adaptive distance relay protection and the distinction magnetizing inrush and internal fault. It means that some problems existing in the power system, using strong adaptive ability and studying ability of Artificial Neutral Network could solve i.e. faults analysis, direction distinction and the distinction magnetizing inrush and internal fault. In the Active filters, its output can vary adaptively with the input. The results obtained from simulation show that it can detect and track the harmonic currents accurately. The paper presents a new method of adaptive distance relay protection, the result shows that this method is absolute reliable using in the protection of power system. Through the using of Artificial Neutral Network in the distinction magnetizing inrush and internal fault verifies the dependability, security and quick speed of operation.
