Research, Based On Dual-dsp Magnetic Bearing Digital Controller

Active Magnetic Bearing (AMB) is one of typical electronic&mechanical products and a new type of high performance bearing piece. It has the properties of no friction, no fray, dispense with lubricate, lasting life, all extrude excellence above which can't be seen in traditional roll bearing and sliding bearing.The research of digital controller is very important in AMB system, the performance and reliability of the digital controller is relate to its appliance.This thesis makes a new digital controller with two pieces of TMS320F240 DSP base on the old digital controller in our lab, The new controller have two kinds of functions.firstly, two DSP can deal with all signal together, secondly, when a DSP is damaged and doesn't work, another DSP will immediately take actions and deal with all signal alonely. Which makes the system runs in gear.
