The Transmission is the important component among the design of the running vehicle, whose design will be crucial to the design quality of the whole machine. Through the design and research of this task, the theory and method available now would be used to the designing practice of construction machinery, the own equipment be produced and the crucial technology and the procedure of the design be mastered.The design of the transmission typed planetary gear power-shafted, is confirmed to cater to the request of design of the whole machine by the confirmation of the travel gear, the matching of the engine, the transmission and torque converter, the suitable transmission ratio of the transmission. Through the design and general estimate of the project of the transmission, the optimal project and draft of design will be confirmed, then the calculation of match teeth will be made, the central structure and parameter will be confirmed, and the crucial component will be corrected.At the same time, in the transmission system of construction machinery up-to-date, the power transferred by the transmission is improved greatly, while the gear friction is adopted in the transfer structure, so the heat loss will influence both the lubrication and cooling of the system, and the working intensity of the structure components. Therefore, the correction of the heat balance is necessary to the system.Subsequently, the structure and technical design will be made before the production of the equipment, which will be followed with the test and improvement.The planetary-driven transmission suitable for the 420 hp Bulldozer will be designed by the research of this task.
