Gansu Province, The Sma Mixture Mix Design

Relying on the research item of the LanBai and ChanLiu highway construction in Gansu province, the dissertation analyses the structural characteristics of SMA mixture and makes a detailed research on asphalt matrix and aggregate graduation. Firstly, the dissertation gives an elaborate discourse on inflence on asphalt matrix with variation of fiber and mineral filler content. Subsequently the inflence on volum index with the change of aggregate graduation is analysed. Moreover, by means of indoor and road test of SMA mixture, road performance of SMA is discussed. Finally, the applicable aggregate graduation of SMA mixture for the climate in Gansu province was recommended.
