Star Magneto Key Parameters Standardized Design Methods

Magneto is kernel of motorcycle engine, it take a very important place in the manufacturing of motorcycle. Most magneto companies of our country are short of the theory of magneto design; they always modeled on product of other countries. So the product development circle is long, and it is difficult to improve the performance and quality of product. Base on many years of experience in development and manufacturing, we get a lot of basis data of asteroidal magneto, through the analysis of these data and with the application of base theory of generator design, this thesis introduces a standard method of magneto key parameters design. The main research work include (1) introduces the gemal method and steps of asteroidal magneto design, especially the method and steps of electromagnetism compute, follow these steps, the design parameters such as relative structure dimensions, coil and magnetic circuit parameters can be obtained. This method is easy to use. This thesis also provides a series of experiential coefficients for the mode! of key parameters standard design. It predigests the design and improves the design veracity. (2) Base on the in-depth research of asteroida! magneto, points out the compute of lamp coil design is the key of magneto design; and points out the type and structure of permanent magnet. (3) Verifies the voltage wave, electrical current vuive and output power wave of asteroidal magneto, and the veracity of parameters by a series of experiments. The experimental result demonstrates that the error is less than 10% between theoretic value and actual value. So the method provided in this thesis can meet the need of engineering completely.
