More and more higher performance of torpedo is required to adapt to the present-day war. The thermodynamic propulsion system is the central part of torpedo. Its performance is the key of tactical and technical requirement to modern torpedo. So it is necessary to pay more attention to the thermodynamic propulsion system in torpedo research.In simulation theory terms, torpedo turbine engine system is a complicated system. Especially at non-design condition, the works of matching and controlling inner parameters of system is more difficult. For this reason, it is obligatory to use digital computer in establishing system's mathematics model and system simulating at the phase of turbine engine system designing. Through system simulating, we can provide as more detail parameters for designing as possible. The resort of system simulating is the base of establishing system controlling formulation.This paper is based on the theory of engineering thermodynamics. The research object is unclosed-cycle-form partial-flow two-stage impulse torpedo turbine. First we study the design condition of torpedo turbine. The precondition of establishing mathematics model of torpedo turbine system in design condition is to fulfill the external conditions (such as torpedo sailing speed and depth etc.) and inner conditions (such as turbine power and efficiency etc.). After establishing mathematics model of torpedo turbine system in design condition, we compiled simulation program to compute all kinds of inner parameters of turbine engine include engine type, principal layout of turbine, inner structure of turbine and state parameters of gases. Based on above computing, we researched two kinds of non-design condition-process of changing speed in the same depth and process of changing depth in the same speed. Establishing mathematics model and computing, then we bring forward a kind of measure to adjust the turbine during the transition process.
