By the test of saturated soil and unsaturated soil, this paper enquiry that the stress-strain relationships of compacted soil under one dimensional consolidation is perfect hyperbole. The secant modulus is used to calculate final settlement of high-stacked soil, compared with the result of e ~ p curve, the error is in the limit of tolerance.Arranging the settlement-time test data of saturated soil and unsaturated soil, the paper acquire two kinds of fitting method. Contrasting the result with the test data, the paper approve the two kinds of method describe the settlement development with time. Analyzing their parameter, the paper establish calculating mould for unsaturated stacked loess soil. This mathematic mould simultaneously include force, settlement and time.Applying similarity principle and analyzing one dimensional consolidation, the paper transform the mould to the prototype. This mathematic calculating mould include the effect offeree, settlement and time, also contain the repeated addition of settlement. So this mould can be used to calculate the settlement of incremental loading embankment.At last, the paper provide the calculating method for S 3, S 3 play an important role of settlement after construction for high-stacked soil.
