As a new type of conveyances, Maglev Vehicle has aroused more and more attention because of its high velocity, comfortable riding, few pollution and low noise. As to the Maglev Vehicle system, Maglev control technology is one of the most nuclear and key techniques in the system. However, with the increasing complexity of the control system and the heightened requirements of the performance of the vehicle, the traditional levitation controller mainly made up of analog circuit, which once has greatly promoted the application of maglev technique, can no longer adapt to the development of the vehicle. At the same time, with the drastic progress of computer, communication, micro-electronics and digital circuit technology, a variety of the high-speed and high-performance micro-controllers and micro-processors have been produced ivhich make it possible to replace the traditional levitation controller by a digital one.This article deals with the design of the new digital controller developed based on the traditional one, which mostly aims at the levitation experiment with single electro-magnet. First of all, the basic structure and principle of the single electromagnet levitation system will be discussed as well as a mathematical model will be founded. The factors, which influence the performance of the system, will be analyzed and the relative solution will be brought forward for further reference. After that, according to the trait of the single electromagnet levitation system, the design of the digital levitation controller will be discuss both on hardware and software. Afterwards, we tested levitation controller, proved the feasibility of the digital controller, then analyzed and summarized the result of the experiment in detail. At last, with the realistic problems we have experienced during the debugging, the notion of debugging online has been put forward and the design of the debugging system is being studied. Part of the key techniques of the debugging system is realized academically, which has made a solid foundation for the further consummation of the system.
