Presented in this thesis is a model test of the arch ribs segment with concrete filled steel tube(CFST) of Maocaojie Bridge, which is located in the Yiyang of the Hunan Province and provides the engineering base for the test. The model scale is 1/5. The distribution of the stress at the top section of arch ribs in different load cases is obtained by simulating the construction procedure. Moreover, the time-dependent stress in ribs due to the creep also has been measured for about one year since the static experiment case was over.This thesis is divided into four chapters. In chapter one, the CFST property and its application and development in bridge construction are reviewed. The status of the mechanical capability study at home and abroad on CFST are reviewed too. Then this research is outlined. In chapter two, the test procedure is introduced. In chapter three, the static load performance of the CFST arch bridge is firstly introduced. Then simulate the model with plane and space finite element methods to find the theoretical values, which are compared with the measured results. Some rules are obtained by the comparison. In chapter four, on the bases of the analyzing of the theory of concrete creep, a program for creep analysis of CFST arch bridge is compiled, The program results are compared with the experimental data, which proved the programming procedure is correct and finding some creep rules of CFST. At the end of the thesis, conclusion is drawn and some constructive advices are put forward, and some aspects to be consummated are pointed out.Based on the model test, analyzed in finite element program, the thesis gives credible data to the design of this bridge and the model test of the same type bridge,...
