Along with developments of societal economy and popularization of computer, it is high time to construct digital water conservancy to accelerate the modernization of the water conservancy in the new century . Then establishing a dependable orientation water-sediment dynamics of river networks is the important part of the work . At the same time , it has great use in a lot of fields , such as flood control of city , flood forecast analysis and water resources continuable use .This thesis is based on the water system of Pearl River Delta actual situation and applicated the numerical simulation method to study the complex river networks . At last using Visual C#.NET technique realizes its vision and quite operation . The thesis primarily have three parts as follows :Firstly, The background of the paper is introduced and the theoretical foundation of numerical simulation is specified . A review on study of numerical simulation for unsteady flow in river networks is presented .Secondly , Based on former researches , this part discusse the new method which is based on half implicit finite element method . The model's merits as well as its demerits are summarized . the model can be applied in wide practices and is initially put forth by Pearl River Delta in datail, the results are well agreed with filed data .Lastly , Using Visual C#.NET technique to realize its vision and quite operation . The aspects for further investigated in this area are pointed out.
