Since the 70's of last century when the energy crisis broken out, buildingenergy saving became a focus all over the world. Under this background, there are more and more cries for HVAC systems to reduce their energyconsumption.Generally speaking, studies concerning about the energy, saving for HVACsystems are carried out passively or initiatively, this paper intend to discuss the impacts produced by different HVAC indoor air temperaturecontrol strategies, humidity control strategies and outdoor air control strategies in different HVAC systems in terms of energy consumption and indoor environment parameters. To facilitates the analysis, this paper adopts the computer simulation methods which consist of detailed dynamic cooling load calculations, system simulations and heavy Statistics. To stand out the usage of the study, this paper selects some typical or idiographic objects to study, including building construction type, weather conditions, HVAC system type and its operating procedures. This paper analyzes the impacts in energy consumption and indoor environment parameters by different HVAC indoor air temperature control strategies, humidity control strategies and outdoor air control strategies equipped with in HVAC systems, and presents some means and measures to achieve energy saving and obtain disable indoor airenvironment in terms of these control strategies and operatingmanagement. Finally, the author discusses the availability and the weakness of thisstudy and put forward some suggestion for the study method and process.
