| The information of radiate materials' composition can be attained by its Y -ray spectra. Since the y -ray's self-absorption of radiate materials is a very important factor, which depends on the geometry of the materials. In the analyses of component, a correction form is applied to the Y -spectrum to exclude the effect of the geometry structure effectively. Under general geometry conditions, it is proved through a great deal of numerical simulations that the correction form is independent of the geometry of the radiate material. After that, the compositions of the uniform radiate material are analyzed by the correction form. As well, the self-absorption correction and the composition of the layered samples are analyzed , and good results are obtained. |
