With the expansion of power system and the appearance of large-capacity and high-head hydroelectric generating unit, the requirement of performance of turbine governor is more and more higher. On the foundation of improving the hardware design, manufacture technique and assembly technique of turbine governor, the research of control strategy of turbine governor is an important work. With the developing of control theory and the advance of control performance, the research of intelligent control in process control system is necessary. This paper studies the intelligent control strategy of turbine regulating system under the summary of regulate and controlrule and application work. The important contents are:1. Summarize the developing of control theory, indicate the necessity and actual purpose of researching of intelligent control theory and it's application.2. Summarize the developing course of turbine governor and the research condition of control strategy of turbine regulating system.3. Give the mathematical model of turbine regulating system which used for simulation, according the actual require of simulation, there has more mathematical model. Describe the new implement - MATLAB language, which used for simulation.4. According the real characteristic of hydroelectric generating unit and requirement of simulate result, use the MATLAB Language to simulation for linear, small oscillation and large oscillation condition of turbine regulating system.5. Describe a design method of optimal robust governor with pole-placement, and use it to simulate for turbine regulating system. The result of simulation proved that the close-loop has a better robustness while the parameters of hydroelectric generating unit with the governor ,which designed used this method, vary throughout thei4r respective intervals.6. Describe the application of fuzzy control theory in the process control system, and simulate for turbine regulating system using fuzzy controller with integration, Fuzzy-PID complex controller and PID controller with parameter fuzzy self-adjust. Compare the turbine regulating system with fuzzy controller and the turbine regulating system with tradition PID . controller, the result proved that the transient process performance of the former is better, and it has characteristic of shorter adjust time and smaller over value.At last, summary the work of this paper, point out the shortage of this paper and the more research for requirement.
