| To study hydrodynamic phenomena at the extreme energy densities produced in the hydrodynamic stage of a nuclear detonation (before criticality) more profoundly, new LIA be asked to having radiation output with multiple pulses. This paper described two experiments: In the first experiment,a double-pulse power source have been built to test the display when multi-pulse circling the ferrite cirque or matglass cirque; The second experiment is to change a single-pulse LIA cavity to a double-pulse LIA cavity. The experiment results show that, ferrite or matglass can be used as the magnetic cores in a multi-pulse LIA. |
