Based On The Cim / Xml Power System Data Warehouse Research And Design

The SCAD A system of every electric power bureau has acquired a large amount of data of power system. However, we can't get information from the data easily. Using the data to get needful information is an instant requirement in these electric power bureaus.This paper describes the concept, system structure of the Decision Support System(DSS) firstly, then introduces the database, model library, knowledge library and arithmetic library of the DSS. Subsequently, this paper describes the design of the data warehouse in details. The author took part in the development of DMS of Huzhou Electric Power Bureau, built a data mart about power quality to use the SCADA data effectively. Building the data mart is the preparation of building a data warehouse of the whole bureau.We need extract and transform the data from different systems in the process of building a data warehouse. We must get the data schemas of every system, and the approach of extracting the data from every system is different. The work is hard, and the data schema is the core technology, you can't get it freely. So we present an approach of extracting data based on CIM/XML. Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 discuss the concept and implementation of this approach.
