Rotary kiln is the key equipment in many industrial departments, such as building materials industry, metallurgical industry, etc. its life and operative rate are greatly effected by the curvature of axes. In the article, the theory calculation of the curvature of axes of rotary kiln is carried through, the relation between the common malfunctions and the axes deformation is summed up, which will direct technician to remove the malfunctions. The mechanical character of large-scale variable-stiffness rotary kiln under multi-supporting system is analyzed, the mechanical model is set up when the axes is bending. Based on the adjustment of the operative axes, taking the equilibrium of the force of iihe supporting annuals and the maximal curvature of axes as the optimizing goal, considering the fuzzy factors of axes adjustment such as the single adjustment quantity of axes, transmission system, the seal of the head and the end of rotary kiln, the deformation of tyre and the stress of the cylinder, the fuzzy optimizing model of adjusting parameters of rotary kiln is set up for the first time. The method of solving fuzzy optimizing problems is summarized, The fuzzy optimizing model is solved by applying maximum-minimum method, weighted average method, and fuzzy synthetic evaluation method, and the results are analyzed in great detail. In order to contrast conveniently, the force of the supporting annuals and curvature of axes is supplied by applying routine adjusting rotary kiln method and by common optimizing adjusting rotary kiln method. It is showed that the merits of routine adjusting rotary kiln method and common optimizing adjusting rotary kiln method are included in the fuzzy optimizing adjusting rotary kiln method, which can improve the running condition more greatly.The optimizing software of adjusting parameters of rotary kiln is developed in Matlab, the program of data communication between Matlab and database is written out, the interface which can be operated conveniently and whose interface is beautiful is designed in Delphi. The spot integration of the optimizing software of adjusting parameters of rotary kiln is finished under Delphi environment, so the onlineoptimization can be realized. Combined with the monitoring system of kiln rotary, The software will send out alarm when the running status is becoming worse and the adjusting parameters of rotary kiln will be supplied on time, which direct the adjustment of rotary kin. Thus the rotary kiln will be kept in good running state. The successful application of the software in the second rotary kiln in the Great Wall aluminium corporation show the software is convenient and is worthy of being spreaded.
