| Saving-energy has been becoming a important research subjects along with the explosion of energy crisis in 1970s. An oil-refinery plant releases a lot of waste heat that has already been used in heating in winter. In order to save much energy and improve housing and working conditions of employees, much more waste heat should be recovered to use to central air-conditioning system. Firstly, waste heat resources should be calibrated in the plant. Secondly, the load of air-conditioning should be determined. Then, scheme of central air-conditioning system is determined and then designed.People often have a sick of air-conditioning because of poor closeness in air-conditioning room. So, the form of air currents must be improved to raise air quality. The thesis use ANSYS software, based on computational fluid mechanics and heat transfer theory, to couple and numerically simulate the flow field and temperature field of all kinds of the forms of air currents in offices. Through the comparison and analysis of the results of the numerical simulation, the ways of saving energy and improving the forms of air currents can be found.
