First of all, domestic and abroad research about superstruct梖oundation梥oil interaction is introduced in this paper. The general bearing characters and calculating methods of mat or pile梞at foundation are then explained. Moreover, the interaction sense, analysis pattern and sub梥tructure method are discussed. Based on the current research, further development has worked as follows. (1) The theory bf mutilayered elastic half space is applied to the interaction analysis of mat and pile梞at foundation of tall building firstly in this paper, which provide a reasonable method for interaction analysis of foundation on layer soil. (2) In order to reflect the character of deformation of soil precisely, the modulating coefficient* ~ is introduced in this paper, so the mutilayered elastic half space model and winkler model are united, then a method to gain ~ which can be applied in practical situation is illuminated. (3) According to the practical situation that the plates of mat or pile梞at foundation are thicker and thicker, the thick梡late theory and fitful eight joint element are used in this paper. By these means, the unregular plates and plates of which thidkness is not same can be calculated. (4) In the interaction analysis of pile梞at foundation, the shear梔eformationed method which only deal with a single pile in homogeneous body previously has been developed so that the interaction analysis of piles with layer soil has been completed successfully. Based on the flexible coefficient of the single pile, that coefficient of pile梡ile, pile梥oil or soil梡ilehas been deduced, then rigid matrix of system of piles and layer soil can be gained. (5) On the basis of theoretical analysis, the program for the interaction analysis of mat and pile梞at foundation on layer soil has been developed. Not only compared with other methods, but also with settlement data got form practice, the method of this paper and the program developed in this paper are proved reliable.
