Fast Distance Protection And The Protection Of The Test Platform

Rapid distance relay protection make use of the relation principle, through work on the fault portion of the fault circuit, reach the judgement of whether the fault ocurr in the range proctected. the rapid distance relay protection is systematically researched in this paper. Through work on the operation voltage Ugp and compensation voltage up, we get the analytic expression of operation voltage Uop and compensation voltage up. Then, we analyze the criterion of the protection using these analytic expression. At last, we experiment the criterion of the protection using EMTP software, validate the conclusion of academic analysis.Experimental platform of relay protection is the software used to experiment the principle and equipment of relay protection. In the other hand, it is a simulator of power system including equipment of relay protection. Through analyze and express the whole power system with state space method, we assure the similarity of the system software simulated and real power system. The software use the object oriented design method, this assure the maintainability and extensibility of software.
