Theoretical Study Of The Static Design Of Large Flexible Belt Conveyer

With belt conveyor being developed towards high speed, long distance, large carrying capacity and large driving power in thecontinue transports, more and more importance is attached to theresearch of belt conveyor curves. In the recent years, the part researchtheories of belt conveyor curve have been updated periodically, however the complete research of that has not kept up with thedevelopment. Basing on the existing researches, this paper discussesthe static design theory of belt conveyor curves roundly from planecurves to space curves. Especially in the horizontal curves, considering based on the whole belt, updates the theory formulas andmakes it more closer to the practice.
