Steel fiber reinforced self-stress/expansive concrete is a type of material which can improve breaking resistance and permeability resistance. At present, there is little research to it in the world. In Japan, the study in this field mainly converge on expansive concrete, however, in our country, which primarily converge on self-stress concrete and steel fiber reinforced expansive concrete. This paper is concentrated on the fundamental mechanical performance of steel fiber reinforced self stress/expansive concrete. The main contents of my project are as follows:1 .~ The relationship between the expansive property of selfstress/expansive concrete and various factors such as the volume of st~l fiber and the type of concrete is researched. A calculation formula, which consumes the size effect of structure on the expansive property is presented.2~.The effect of various volume steel fiber on the splitting tensile strength of three type concrete ( portland-cement concrete expansive concrete~ self-stress concrete) is studied. The splitting tensile strength relational expression of the steel fiber reinforced self-stress/expansive concrete and the matrix concrete is given.3~.The breaking resistance of axial tension structure and eccentric tension structure is researched. Based on the theoretical analysis, a formula is proposed which shows good agreement with the test results.4~.The crack width law of structures which are made of different type concrete and different volume ratio is studied. Combined with the analysis of cracking mechanics, the theoretical model of crack width is suggested.5~ The effects of the volume of steel fiber and the expansive property of concrete on the bearing capacity of structures are researched. The practical formulas for evaluating structures?bearing capacity are proposed.
