With the rapid development of urbanization, our limited land resources suffered huge pressure. Meanwhile the high intensity of land development has lead to a decline in the land ecosystem functions. Ecological issues are emerging in endlessly. All these issues have increasingly become the bottleneck to urban development. Rapid urbanization led to continuous expansion of city size, high-intensity activities of human beings have changed the urban land use, types of land cover and are forming a pattern named the second natural in urban areas which is different from the natural surface. Although in a long time, climate issues impact more obvious on hydrology and water resources, but in the short term, land use together with cover change is the main factors that would influence the security issues for urban water. In this paper, we analyzed the urban water security, and proposed a main solution. Our study started with finding the security process of urban water, then compared all the existing mechanisms, after that simulation is required to figure out the effects of different mechanisms, in the end we optimized them with our own approach. Our main contributions are as follows : firstly try to analyze the process of the rapid urbanization of land use / cover change, driving forces, hydrological effect caused by high intensity activities from human being. Secondly we optimize the design of land cover and put forward feasible proposals and measures for promoting regional hydrological effect of urbanization in order to achieve a virtuous cycle of hydrological processes to promote optimal land use, urban land use distribution of scientific guidance has an important guiding role in practice. This research would provide effective decision support and security grantee to high-strength activities on land use, regional development and urban construction from human of our country.
