Research On Culture Elements In Village Plan

The countryside is the environmental space where the villagers conduct daily producing, living and developing. It is the spatial carrier that village culture resides in. The culture without villages is incomplete. Since the Fifth Plenary Session of the 16th CPC proposed to build New Socialist Countryside comprehensively, our countryside has undergone enormous changes, the economy and the society reforms continually, the facility is gradually complete, the service improves day after day. But at the same time, under the impact of high-speed urbanization, industrialization and modernization, the local village culture has evovled, disassimilated, and even extinguished constantly. The traditional village pattern is destroyed, the traditional culture is going to wither away gradually, and the village culture is facing the huge danger. Against this background, it holds the important theoretical and the practical significance to study scientific solutions to the cultural elements in the planning of countryside renovation.On the basis of the relevant review concerning the cultural elements, impact and related processed pattern. Firstly,the article summarizes the cultural elements in the process of countryside development, with a thorough analysis of seven elements such as natural concepts, Fengshui thought, land system, the patriarchal system, the folk culture, the economic life and the living habits which effect on the location and layout of the village, cultural landscape, spatial pattern, public space and residence architecture. Secondly,this paper also make comparisons between domestic excellent cases and Yangzhou's case, focusing on the analysis of how to better express the cultural elements in the planning. Finally the article takes Zhuguo village as the project case, by analysing the overall condition and historic cultural background of Zhuguo Village, and it summarizes the important cultural elements which influence the development of this village. On the foundation of the overall description about the renovation of countryside planning, the paper proposes the corresponding improved plan, and verifies the feasibility of the theoretical achievements.
