Gps-based Vehicle Location Monitoring System

Intelligent transportation systems can improve the transportation system of services and management level, to urban space resources, efficient use of energy to ensure the safe operation of transportation systems to provide high-quality transportation services.Vehicle location system, intelligent traffic monitoring system is an important subsystem, this paper carried out the vehicle using GPS positioning and monitoring of research.In this paper, first introduces the subject of the research background, overview of development in intelligent transportation systems and intelligent transportation systems used in the key communications technology; expounded the principle of GPS positioning. On the basis of proposed vehicles based on GPS positioning and monitoring system design. Then, the study of the system hardware and software design. Hardware design includes GPS module, GSM module and main control module; software design is based onμC / OS-II real-time kernel, focusing on the main control module functions in embedded systems migration.
