With the development of the high-rise buildings,the structure system requirements of building have higher demand,it represents the general trend researching on structures of good earthquake resistant behavior. Steel-concrete hybrid structures give full play to both steel's and concrete's advantages, having a better seismic performance, proved by large amounts of project cases and analysis. More and more people give their eyes on it. This paper makes a contrast between pushover method in the SAP2000 software and experiment to see the seismic behavior of strip combination of coupling beam, a new type of frame-hybrid tube structures. The main research contents are as follows:(1) Compare several different loading method,find out that the results of the vertex loading method most close to he experimental results,using this loading method to conduct pushover analysis.(2) Getting the cycle and frequency by model analysis, contrast to the consequence of dynamic characteristic test, proving the correctness of the model.(3) Contrast to the experiment, using the pushover method to study the relationship between base shear and vertex displacement of the test model, find out that the analysis results of the base shear is larger but the vertex displacement is smaller.(4) Getting the performance point of the structure, calculating its layer displacement and inter-story drift, watching the change rules of the lateral sway curve. Contrast to the limits of the norm after calculating the inter-story displacement angle,we can get that the layer displacement is within the limits,it means that this structure has good earthquake resistant behaviour.(5) Find out the frail-layer by studying the development situation of the plastic hinge of the coupling beams,get that the upper floors is frail-layer,the analysis results are closed to experiment results. Get the result that the bottom of the shear wall has the largest stress by watching the stress diagram of the shear wall.(6) Considering the influence on structure response by different coefficient of the link beam's stiffness,different number of stories and different concrete strength, putting forward advices of seismic design.
