With the rapid economic development of China central region, the material and spiritual needs of Hunan city residents also change. Firstly, their concept of breakfast has changed. There is a growing emphasis on the importance of breakfast and the demand for breakfast has changed from survival consumption stage with the purpose of feeding up to the stage of improvement pursuing health, hygiene, taste and nutrition. Secondly, their living pattern has changed. Though living conditions have been much improved, people feel their spiritual life is barren and there is a lack of communication and exchange among neighbors which they are eager to get.This paper, at first, investigates and studies the four aspects of lifestyle of Hunan city residents, including their living pattern, consumption activity travel, leisure life and breakfast pattern. This thorough research demonstrates their new diet and leisure demands. Then by investigating Lingnan teahouse dining model, it deeply analyzes this moder's teasibility. the reasons why it did not take into shape in Hunan cities, anu proposes "Community (?)eahouse, a new model of applying Lingnan Teahouse dining model in Hunan. It is based on the public platform provided in the community, targets on enhancing communication and emotional needs of residents, promoting exchanges among different social classes, meeting breakfast consumption needs of community residents, enriching the leisure and entertainment life of Hunan urban residents, and provides a comprehensive location concentrating dining, entertainment and affective communication service. Finally, this paper builds a system model of "Community Teahouse" and analyzes the operation regulation mechanism, environment and facility design, and other aspects of Community Teahouse, the materialized dining environment of the model. Based on those above points, it picks Hanpu Community as the experimental site and carries out a sample design.
