In recent years, pipe-roof advance support method has developed as a new tunnel excavation technology in the weak rock. And it has been widely used in the world, because of its advantages, such as safe construction, effective support, simple technique, short process period, high efficiency and so on. As one of the most critical facilities, pipe-roof rig services most in the pre-reinforcement. The role of rig is to erect pipe roof along the tunnel outline. With a large number of railway tunnel construction, the demand of pipe-roof rig is growing. Therefore, besides to introducing foreign rig, the development of pipe-roof rig, which has independent intellectual property rights and the world advanced level, has become a very important and urgent issue.The subject regards pipe-roof rig as the study object, and the main contents include:(1)Basing on analysis of rock drilling principle and rig problems at the site construction, drilling method of pipe-roof rig is improved. In the subject, a three-dimensional model of rig drilling mechanism is created in the three-dimensional design software called Autodesk Inventor. (2)Through motion simulation of drilling mechanism in simulation working conditions with Autodesk Inventor, actual motion law of rig drilling mechanism is got and required maximum propulsion and pullout force under different drilling methods can be calculated. (3)Providing a theoretical basis to prevent pipe sticking and fatigue failure, stress of rig drilling mechanism is analyzed and optimized, simultaneously, natural frequency of drill pipe and the corresponding mode shapes are studied.The research work done is a certain theoretical and practical significance to design and develop pipe-roof rig, and also a new exploration to develop and optimize similar products.
