With the expansion of the production scale which Hangzhou Iron & Steel Group Corporation is carried out,the blast furnace capacity expanded step by step, the amount of blast furnace gas Increased. According to the various types of gas consumption,We want to transformate one Coal-fired boiler to Gas Boiler that use the Blast furnace gas. Through the transformation ,we can reduce environmental pollution and rational use the secondary energy.This article discusses the different features of Coal-fired boiler and Gas Boiler,and design reform heating surface of the 35t/h Chain-boiler. In order to Saving investment ,We retain the original boiler's Civil engineering structure,drum and other body parts. Heating surface was oretically optimized transformation to meet the characteristics of gas-fired boiler. The strength of pressure components was checked by the related procedure in the article which can ensure security of the boiler.This article also carry out the test of the boiler operation and the calculation of the positive equilibrium thermal efficiency which can evaluation the benefit of the transformation.
