As the acceleration of urbanization process in China, the construction waste issue is increasingly attracted attention. Waste glass and waste concrete is an important component of construction waste,because both are non-biodegradable materials, how to effectively carry out their resource recycling has become a pressing problem. The recycling of waste concrete for recycle concrete is the main direction of recycle construction waste technology.Through the analysis of waste glass of the main chemical components and physical properties and reading a lot of the literature, the pozzolanic activity of a specific particle size of waste glass powder is showed,the potential of being supplementary cementitious materials is known as well. This topic will use the waste glass powder as supplementary cementitious materials in recycle concrete.Through the analysis of experiment,the suitable application of waste glass powder used in recycled concrete is expected to achieve the goal of recycling both waste glass and waste concrete,and make the foundation for the further study of waste glass used in recycle concrete and concrete. The research on waste glass used as supplementary cementitious materials is carried out quite few in China, and therefore it has became an innovative research.In this paper, waste glass used as supplementary cementitious materials theoretically is discussed theoretically. By comparing the microstructure and composition of mixed cement paste with waste glass powder and fly ash, the result can be known that:in the hydration process, the waste glass powder and fly ash as supplementary cementitious materialsl has shown a lot of layered, fibrous and velvet-like structure of hydration products and, thus, involved in the hydration reaction of waste glass powder, and has shown some pozzolanic activity. In the experiment of using ISO standards sands,certification tests mortar mixed with waste glass powder in the compressive strength of small blocks is over the same experimental conditions which contains fly ash,the results proved that waste glass powder can be used as supplementary cementitious materials.in order to find out a combination possibility of recycled concrete and waste glass, with reference to the ISO standard paper size distribution of sand required fine aggregate,a kind of similar physical and chemical environment of recycled concrete is made, in which the influence of particle size and content of waste glass powder, the water cement ratio and chemical factors stimulating agents used in experiment are tested and analysed.And the best way of using waste glass powder as supplementary cementitious material is carried out:the particle size of38μmbelow,the ash content is 15%, water cement ratio is 0.45. After the processing of recycled aggregate, the specimens of the array design strength grade of C30 of recycled concrete are made, the waste glass powder is added in them.The test results show that the 7d compressive strength of the specimens can reach 19.2MPa, and 28d compressive strength is 35.6MPa, the results meets the array design strength grade of C30, and the compressive strength development is optimistic, and the conclusion is made that waste glass powder can be used as supplementary cementitious material in recycled concrete, several suggestions for future work direction are made.
