Ontology Applied Research, In Medical Information Retrieval System

With the medical information systems development, the number of medical information increase steadily. Due to differences in the user's background, and ambiguity of natural language, resulting in medical information retrieval, there is a certain degree of blindness.Ontology is originally philosophical concept, before the introduction of computer artificial intelligence research. Ontology is clear descriptions of the concept structure in a particular area, the bulk of the field all the concepts and the relationship between the concepts of knowledge. As ontology has a good concept of hierarchy and the logic of support, in recent years, the research on ontology becomes hot in computer and information science.This study aims to identity theory, methods, technology research and practice, and explore ontology-based information integration approach; to establish the field of ontology-based knowledge systems, auxiliary keyword-based retrieval methods; study the structure of ontology storage method; construction ontology-based medical information retrieval system for medical information retrieval methods and tools to provide support.Research work includes:1. A systematic study of the concept of ontology, classification, role, said the language, methods and build tools to build theory and application technology.2. For body building methods and techniques of research, comparative analysis of the existing ontology construction method, Thesaurus-based approach to build ontology-based research methods to "Classified Chinese Thesaurus" for building ontologies main knowledge, and make the reference to "The People's Republic of China Pharmacopoeia" ontology built a number of areas.3. Designed Ontology-based medical information retrieval system, architecture, component deployment method, ontology structured storage method, user rights management strategies, interface-Agent communication model and system operation.4. For the completion of the research work were summarized on the next stage of research work were prospected.The research design of the ontology-based medical information retrieval systems are the main results of this paper, with some innovative and reference value.
