Study Of The Yan'an Historical And Cultural City Protection System

Famous historic and cultural cities are precious treasures of the world people.Those cities are the media and aggregation of hundreds of years'human civilization and advanced cultures.The protection of the famous historic and cultural cities contributes to contemporary times and brings benefits for future centuries.Nowadays, an increasing number of people begin to realize the importance of protecting the famous historic and cultural cities, and relative researches have been conducted by the experts of various fields and subjects.Therefore, the protection system of the famous historic and cultural cities has been perfected day by day. However, the mass construction of the cities in recent years has been a serious threat to the protection of the famous historic and cultural cities.The conflict between the protection and development, and the collision between the tradition and modernism haven't been solved but becoming more fierce.This thesis conducts a research on the protection of Yan'an city-a typical small and medium-sized famous historic and cultural city-from various perspectives, so as to find out the ways to both protect the history and maintain the sustainable development of the ancient city under the current situations.The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part presents the argument, including the first chapter and second chapter. In this part, the author has a research about the background information of the studying object, introduced the theoretical basis of the study, and has done a (?)erature review about relative studying results both at home and abroad.The second part is the main discussion part, including the third chapter. In this part, the author makes a case study on the city Yan'an, does a research on the basic situation and the protection history of Yan'an city, and has a detailed statement about the balanced development between the protection and the renovation of the famous historic and cultural cities so as to give a reference for the future reformation and perfection of the protection system of the famous historic and cultural cities in China.The last part serves as the conclusion part. In this part, the author has made a conclusion of the whole thesis, and restated the importance and significant meaning for the protection of famous historic and cultural cities.Last but not least, the author makes a prediction about the protection and renovation of the famous historic and cultural cities based on the integral and sustainable development conception.
