More and more surface of earth were covered by impermeable materials, due to the increasing construction in cities. The "Heat-Island" phenomenon appeared in a few cities, because the earth respiratory supplement is blocked; Moreover, the "Funnel-Effect" has been produced by the over-exploitation of groundwater. In recent years, in order to walk the sustainable development path, the porous concrete has been widely studied and applied in many projects, which maintained the balance of groundwater resources, minored the "Heat-Island" phenomenon, and improved the life and travel conditions. However, the disadvantages of conventional porous concrete appeared in some construction projects, such as heavy volume-weight, small proportion strength, strong labor intensity, and the short supply of sand etc. Therefore, the novel construction materials were developed to provide more choices of feedstock gravel. The scoria is a new resource which haven't been developed in previous works, the rich reserves, porosity, small volume-weight will meet the demands in construction applications, and improve the work efficiency. However, the studies in porous concrete with scoria haven't been reported in China. The novel results of this studies will be greatly promote the application of porous concrete.In this thesis, the scoria porous concretes preparation and influence factors between porous concrete produced from hard aggregate and cartilage material were studied. The law on scoria porous concrete come from air void, water-cement ratio, grain size, and the relationship between compressive strength and flexural strength of scoria porous concrete were established. Afterward, the shrinkage in fabrication process was analyzed. Finally, the simplified test method of porosity of concrete was developed.After the research, we selected the concretes preparation, determined the preparation techniques, and we found that water-cement ratio's to scoria porous concrete is more sensitive than normal porous concrete; When the aggregate size and water-cement ratio is same,compressive growth as the porosity decreases; In the same kind of water-cement ratio,scoria porous concrete's compressive strength become bigger when weight greater; The strength will be the highest when water-cement ratio and particle size in specific situations; As the measured pore ratio is small, the flexural strength and compressive strength of scoria porous concrete is a linear relationship; After shrinkage test,we know scoria permeable concrete's shrinkage situation is contraction first and then inflation, shrinkage numerical decreased along with the increase of air void, when water-cement ratio is specific, the shrinkage minimum. Scoria porous brick as a new technology has been studied and successfully applied to industrial production, the compressive strength and flexural strength can reach 8.6MPa and 3.3 MPa, porous coefficient larger than 4mm/s.
