Oxidation ditch process has experienced a wide range of development and evolution since born, now it is widely used in urban sewage and industrial wastewater treatment due to its simple, practical, efficient, reliable and superior return on investment, but because it has a large volume and complex structure,and the reactor generally promotes water flow by the oxidation ditch aeration equipment, it results in low rate and the deposition of sludge when power less than normal,then affects the normal operation of oxidation ditch.At present, there are a large of ancillary facilities in practice in order to improving the uneven distribution of flow velocity and reducing sludge deposition. However, the methods of improving technology and facilities checked by experiments are verified time-consuming and money-consuming.This issue mainly analyzes the flow status, velocity distribution and mixed status of the mixture and simulates application effects of the oxidation Ditch drived by LANDY-F aerator and LANDY-7 aerator by FLUENT software. Thus it cans determine the occurrence location of sludge settlement and accurately judge the installation location of underwater impeller. And it provides some basis of practical application of the aeration machines in the oxidation ditch. Simultaneously it broadens the application of aeration equipment in oxidation ditch .The study above has a certain theoretical and practical significance for the effect of oxidation ditch process with. In addition, it is verified by combining test results of operated oxidation ditch and provides a theoretical basis for the design and production practice of oxidation ditch.
