| Increasing shortage of water resources, the production of life for people severely affected. Sewage treatment is an effective solution to the shortage of water resources. But degree of automation has been poor for a long time because of financial and technical reasons. Attendant processing efficiency is low and the consequences of higher maintenance costs.Mud is the product of sewage treatment in which sludge level detection is an important part. Currently widely used artificial plunger visual error, it is not convenient for continuous monitoring and not conducive to the improvement of automated measurement of the degree. Therefore, a quick, intelligent and accurate sludge level detection system has great significance.This paper analyzed the causes of sludge level, the key of detection and difficult. It also described the current use of the interface detection applications and limitations and proposed detection technique based on ultrasonic echo detection.It first introduced the ultrasound and the physical basis of ultrasonic detection, and detection of the ultrasonic echo principle. It made the whole system design including hardware based on the core of MSP430 chip and software. Finally, the echo signal processing was outlined, the current signal processing techniques were compared, and their simulations have been finished.The last part of this paper has given the total evaluation of the system and the way that how to improve the system function. |
