Copper/Steel composite plate not only have some advantages of copper such as good conducting electricity, high transmitting heat rate and beautiful appearance, but also have some advantages of steel such as high strength, good toughness and low price etc. Hence, the Copper/Steel composite plate was widely used in metallurgy, automobile, shipping, mechanism and so on.This paper successfully obtained Copper/Steel composite plate by "welding+rolling" method. After heat treatment of different heat preservation time and temperature, particularly analyzed the interface microstructure and component using metallographic microscope,SEM in the paper. The paper also tested the mechanical properties of the composite plate such as:tensile test, bending test, shear test etc.The results shown that:1,By different heat preservation temperature and different heat preservation time, the pervasion of Fe element and Cu element was basically not influenced.2,The microstructure of the interface copper side of the hot-rolled was the a single-phase that elongated along the rolling direction, and steel side were ferrite and a small amount of pearlite. The interface microstructure of the rolled microstructure had no obvious change below 600℃.3,After annealing of above 600℃,the interface microstructure had happened obvious recrystallization. The crystal was growing up gradually with the heat preservation temperature rising and the heat preservation time lengthening.4,The mechanical properties test of the Copper/Steel composite plate shown that:After annealing, the tensile strength and bending strength of the composite plate were declined. With the rising of the heat treating temperature, the tensile strength and bending strength presented fall out tendency, while the shear strength had no obvious change.
