As a sort of effective herbicide, Hexazinone is widely used in woodland forest all over the world. Due to its high efficiency, broad-spectrum for weed control, good selectivity and low toxicity crop, it is also an important herbicide on the market in our country.In this paper, the synthesis of hexazinone (3-cyclohexyl-6-(dimethylamino)-1-methyl-1,3,5-Triazine-2,4-(1H,3H)-dione) and its intermediates are investigated. The optimum synthesis route is determined in this paper. And the optimum technological conditions are also achieved through large amount of single factor tests. The best technological parameters such as catalyst, solvent, reactant proportion, reacting temperature, etc. have been obtained. The total yield of hexazinone is 39.05% and the purity is 98%. At the same time, the chemical structures of hexazinone and its intermediates are confirmed by IR,1H-NMR and MS. And the single crystal of hexazinone has also been prepared by using solvent volatilization method. X-Ray test further confirmed the molecular structure. |
