Tyre industry in China has developed rapidly, total production and radial tyres production rates were increasing as well. Which could improve people's life degree and create massive economic benefit, and also caused increasingly sharp ecological environmental impact? Radial tire is considered as the one of the most important automobile components, there were lot of enviornmental impact in area of rubber plantation, radial tyre production and waste meridian tyre, which has threatened the environment health and the life of people. However, some related research on radial tire life cycle impact(LCA) of the environment is still in the stage of exploration, evaluate the potential environmental impact of the radial tire systematically would be with great significance to solve the potential environmental impact caused by the radial tire.In the present paper, LCA model for radial tyre was constructed based on the theory of LCA, and employed to assess the potential environmental impact from natural rubber plantation, production of radial tyre to the treatmrnt of disposal meridian tyres. Main research conclusions are as follows:(1) Constructed the technical framework of LCA for radial tyre and its content——scope and object definition, inventory analysis, interpretation of results.①Scope and object definition should consist of natural rubber plantation, production of radial tyre and the treatment of disposal radial tyre, and the internal process of each stage could divide into raw material and its production, product production and transportation;②Proposed the mothed of inventory analysis, means of research data collection, and defined that each atage should exclude the energy consumption and consider the environmental discharge during the energy conversion, so employed the material balance model and some national standards to evalute the environmental discharge inventory by the thermal power generation, and some environmental discharge on power consumption has recognized to the related inventory;③Environmental impact assessment is about the type of potential environmental impact, and global warming potential (GWP), acidification potential (AP), eutrophication potential (EP), photochemical ozone creation potential (POCP),human toxic potential (HTP),abiotic depletion potential (ADP) were discussed, finally, tried to give some viewpoint about resource depletion.(2) During the natural rubber plantation, standard rubber production and transportation stage, do some resarch on the "negative" potential environmental impact in inventory analysis, such as NOx,SO2 and dust absorption. And, in order to access and decrease the anthropicfactor potential environmental impact, excluded the "negative" impact, the result showed that, single impact degree:the stage of "agricultural production">"standard rubber production">"transportation">"raw material">"natural rubber plantation", the main impact was due to the high energy consumption in fertilizer production and lage environmental discharge. And, from the type of impact viewpoint, the environmental impact degree:AP>EP>GWP>HTP>ADP>POCP. Besides, due to the high fertilizer wastage rate in the natural rubber plantation stage, which makes the large EP and causes the biggest potential environmental impact in agricultural production stage, and the aggregate impact index was 3.63E-13 during the whole stage.(3) In the each stage of production of radial tyre, single impact degree:the stage of "raw material production">"radial tyre production">"raw material">"transportation", the key impact was due to the high energy consumption in carbon black and steel wire production; the environmental impact degree:AP>EP>GWP>HTP>POCP>ADP, and the aggregate impact index was 1.41E-12 during the whole stage.(4)By accessing the potential environmental impact in disposal radial tyre treatment (vulcanized rubber production), the environmental impact degree:AP>EP>GWP>HTP>POCP>ADP, and the aggregate impact index was 1.30E-13 during the whole stage.
