The process of selections, formulation design, customer's confirmation of acceptance through a large amount experiments on the base of the theory have been finished. The best choice was confirmed after careful analysis. A primer should be printed before the ink on the foil was printed. PVB as the primer's main resin and PU as ink's main resin were chose. Meanwhile NC resin in the primer and the ink must be added as secondary resin to improve characteristic, such as dispersal of pigment, making the ink's film harder. The primer's adhesion and slitting-cutting problem was solved through adjusting the raw materials'type and proportions. The ink's adhesion, water resistance and the alkaline water solubility problems were solved by adding a silicone additive, chelating agents, and adjusting the nitrocellulose's type and the ratio between nitrocellulose and polyurethane resin, respectively. The sample ink for customer was made after the ink's formula was confirmed. We succeeded in printing this ink at on site and the customer was satisfied with this ink after they tested every property of the ink. At last the customer gave us a big order, which have benefited our company greatly. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Alcohol-based ink, water resistance, alkaline water solubility, beer bottle foil header labels, PVB, polyurethane | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
