In this dissertation re-melt deposit welding process and welding quality control of copper strip were carried out. The relationship between welding defects and the performance of copper strip based on a large number of testing data was studied. On this basis, automatic ultrasonic nondestructive testing and welding defects intelligent identification were conducted, copper and steel re-melt deposit welding production-related technology standards were formulated.The studies showed that copper and steel re-melt deposit welding process was easy to produce defects as surface defects, interface defects and copper weld flaws. The welding quality was mainly affected by the interface defects and copper weld flaws. The experiments showed that surface defects can be detected by visual inspection, while the Pores, inclusions, no fusion, incomplete penetration and cracks were mainly detected by non-destructive testing, macro-organizational observation, mechanical properties and microstructure observation. The detection methods of copper and steel re-melt deposit welded joint were systematic studied and relevant standards were formulated.Automatic ultrasonic non-destructive testing and welding defects intelligent recognition were studied. Based on Ultrasonic C scan inspection system data acquisition mode, a Computer on-line automatic defect recognition model to determine the defects was established.A defect automatically determine standards for ultrasonic C scan defects automatic identification testing of the artificial defect specimen was formulated.With reference to national standards, the inspection and acceptance standards of copper strip re-melt deposit welding was formulated, which provides a theoretical basis for quality assurance.
