| Recently, mesoporous materials have been an important approach to the development of their unique excellent properties, and have broad application in many fields, such as catalysis, adsorption and separation, drug delivery and other fields. In this paper the mesoporous silicas with well distribution and rule shape were prepared by sol-gel, at the same time we modified the mesoporous materials and their properties had also been studied. The mesoporous silicas with uniform size had been prepared by sol-gel using TEOS and CTAB as raw materials under the alcohol-water system. The influences of the reaction conditions were discussed and a possible mechanism for the formation of the mesoporous silicas is proposed. The main contents were summarized as following:Mesoporous silicas were prepared with cationic surfactant as template. XRD,TG, BET, SEM, TEM were been used in the characterization of these spheres. The effects of difference conditions on the reaction, such as the type of surfactants, the dosage of the alcohol, calcination temperature were discussed and the optimum conditions were confirmed.Ag nanoparticles were coated in the channels of mesoporous silicas through direct and indirect synthesis method, the metal supported mesoporous silicas had been first synthesized via a softly process. The nanoparticle composite grains were proved to form the structure by XRD,TG, SEM, BET, UV, FI-IR and TEM.Metal modified mesoporous silicas were used to the antibacterial experiments and studied the antibacterial tests on E. coli, the experiments indicated that the modified Ag-SiO2 had good antibacterial properties. The action mechanism had also been discussed. |
