To construct wastewater treatment plant(WWTP) is the most significant and effective solution for water pollution control.High energy consumption is the most important character in the operation of WWTP.Accordingly put forward some energy saving method and guide engineering practice.All of the work have important meaning of energy saving development in WWTP.With the aid of investigation on energy utilization status in quote of Henan Province WWTPs,energy consuming features of common wastewater or sludge treatment processes were summarized from different types.On further we investigation energy consumption of three typical WWTPs in Henan Province, analyzed energy requirement level of commonly used facilities and units in treatment plant.Detailed work and major conclusion is as follows:(1) The basic situation of Specific energy consumption factor in Henan Province WWTPs.The average power consumption per ton of water were 0.267 kW·h/m~3, the average flocculant consumption per ton of water were 0.871 g/m~3,the average flocculant consumption per kg of dry sludge were 5.23g/kgDS.(2) The distribution of energy consumption of WWTPs in Henan Province. Judging from the treatment process,used Obral Oxidation Ditch,Carrousel Oxidation Ditch and A~2/O process of the three major WWTPs,the average power consumption per ton of water were 0.272kW·h/m~3,0.272 kW·h/m~3,0.270 kW·h/m~3;the average flocculant consumption per ton of water were 0.85 g/m~3,0.74g/m~3,1.51 g/m~3.(3) Typical WWTP A in Henan Province(Obral Oxidation Ditch process), WWTP B(Carrousel Oxidation Ditch process),WWTP C(A~2/O process),the average power consumption per ton of water were 0.267 kW·h/m~3,0.283 kW·h/m~3,0.233 kW·h/m~3;the average power consumption per g of COD were 0.719 kW·h / gCOD,0.927 kW·h / gCOD,0.656 kW·h / gCOD.(4) Typical WWTP A in Henan Province(Obral Oxidation Ditch process), WWTP B(Carrousel Oxidation Ditch process),WWTP C(A~2/O process),the average flocculant consumption per ton of water were 0.770g/m~3,1.391 g/m~3,0.808 g/m~3;the average flocculant consumption per kg of dry sludge were 5.12g/kgDS,5.47g/kgDS, 5.90g/kgDS...
