China is a famous textile-producing country, the textile industry has been one of the most competitive traditional industrial sectors in China and also affect the world trade of textiles and clothing. It is not only the connection point of the industry and agriculture, but also light industry and heavy industry is the connection point. It plays an important role in clothing consumption, prosperity, employment stability, income growth and accumulation of foreign exchange and so on. However, when the textile industry brings great economic benefits, it also brings tremendous pressure to the environment. It is one of industries which produce a great of waste water, it discharges more than 900 million tons of waste water each year, that is the sixth highest position in the industries. Such wastewater often has some characteristics, it is difficult to decolorize, often contains high concentrations of organic matter, and brings the growing pressure on the environment. To achieve the aim that human is harmony with the environment, ecological dyeing is concerned once again. Eco-textile dyeing technology is the use of environment-friendly dyes and auxiliaries, non-polluting or low-pollution technology. It produces less amount of sewage, and easy to purify the processing, dyeing and finishing products are ecological (green) textiles after dyeing and finishing. The use of natural dyes for dyeing and development a new technique become interests to the research workers once again.Ultrasonic dyeing is a new technology, it not only can increases the percentage of dye uptake, save dye, reduce pollution to the environmental, but also can increase the diffusion coefficient, reduce the activation energy of dye, save energy, increase productivity, dye the clothing under low-temperature and a short period of time, so it is concerned by more and more research workers. As some kinds of chemical synthesis dye are harmful to the environmental and human. Certain plant dyes once again seek after by people. Because the majority of plant dyes are ultra-friendly dyes, the most of vegetable dyes have a certain smell, drug function and will not cause damage to the environment, but improve the environment in a certain extent. There are many experiments about ultrasound-assisted dyeing fabrics, the ultrasound-assisted dyeing can improve the dye uptake to some extent, increase the solid color of dye, but most of them are chemical synthesis dye, it is harmful to the environment, so it can not be called eco-staining at strict sense. There are many reports on use of plant dyes to dye the fabric, but often they are traditional methods of dyeing fabric dyeing. Plant dyes often have a low update and poor fixation. To breakthrough the both drawbacks, we can try to use plant dye to dye the fabrics, but the researches in this area are still rare. For these reasons, this article makes use of ultrasound when extract dye and dye silk, to realize a true meaning of the ecological dyeing and provide some reference. The main content and results of the research are as follows:(1)The red pigment of safflower was extracted under ultrasound. Ultrasonic extraction time, power and other factors which affected the extraction were studied, and it was compared the traditional extraction methods to research the ultrasound effects to the extraction of red pigment of safflower.(2)The effects of ultrasonic cavitation and heat were analyzed when the red pigment was extracted, and the extraction mechanism was analyzed when make use of ultrasound.(3)The yellow pigment was extracted with traditional method, and the stability of red pigment and yellow pigment to ultrasound and heat through experimental to determine the safflower pigment whether to be a suitable to dye when the ultrasound were made use of.(4)The feasibility of dyeing silk with yellow pigment was explored by experiment when the ultrasound was used, and the ultrasound time, power and mordant were analyzed to increase the update of pigment.(5)The sound field of ultrasound was explored to make the dyeing effect more uniform when the textile was dyed with ultrasound, and some methods were raised to achieve the aim, and then-advantages and disadvantages were analyzed.
