Wastewater containing uranium from uranium minerial and its related process industry is a kind of the radioactive water, which can induce the most serious environment pollution and do great harm to human being. It is a new technology to treat this kind of wastewater with biological metabolism. In order to prompt the biological metabolism activity in wastewater and improve the treatment efficiency, the following works have been done in this research. The two systems of SRB and ZVI-SRB were contrasted with as well as the factors affecting the treatment were investigated in this paper.Firstly, the effect of pH, concentration of substrate and nitrate on SRB metabolism and intensify function of ZVI under different conditions were studied by the static experiment. The results showed that ZVI can prompt the reduction of SRB metabolism effectively by boycotting low pH and high concentration of substrate.Secondly, the treatment effect of SRB was contrasted with that of ZVI + SRB using single factor. The results proved that the effect of ZVI + SRB was far better than that of SRB under the same condition, especially, under the condition of low pH, high concentration of substrate and nitrate. At the condition of the pH of 2.5, substrate of 6000mg/L, the removal efficiencies of ZVI + SRB can reach 81.92%, 95.23%, respectively. In addition, by orthogonal experiments, it was found that the order of the factors was , and the optimum combination was substrate of 4000mg/L, pH of 6, uranium concentration of 30mg/L and nitrate of 600mg/L.Afterward, under the circumstance of nutrient depletion, the processes of disposal of Wastewater Containing uranium by Sulfate Reducing Bacteria were studied, which were fitted well to the equation of Languir as well as of Freudhch.Lastly, the effects of SRB and ZVI-SRB's biofixation in treating the wastewater containing uranium were investigated, the adsorption effect of ZVI + SRB was far better than that of SRB, and the adsorption of the two systems of ZVI + SBR and SBR fixation by sodium alginate cormforted to the equation of Languir and Freudhch too.
