Electrostatic-bag precipitator(EBP) was a new developed particle control technology which combines electrostatic precipitator with baghouse filter.EBP had obvious technical advantages.The gas flow distribution of large tandem-type EBP was key factor which effected the running resistence of equipment and the life of filter.The main study methods of the gas flow distribution in Precipitator were model experiments and numerical calculation.Base on the reseach on numerical simulation of gas flow distribution in ESP and baghouse filter.Papers for the application of gas flow distribution of EBP in 300MW power generating plant,Several designs of gas flow distribution program were calculated in numerical simulation method.The numerical simulation results of comparative analysis have been used to optimize the actual engineering design program.The testing sections were to meet the requirements of gas flow distribution,and the test results and numerical simulation results were basically the same ??d.Numerical simulation method was reliable and feasible.In conclusion the technical problem of gas flow distribution in EBP can be solved though applied numerical simulation method.The method can also guide the actual design and optimize the collector structure.Gas flow distribution of EBP should be uniform distributed in the electrostatic field unit,and meet the gas flow distribution requirements of Electrostatic Precipitator. Particles were charged and most large particles were removed in the electrostatic field unit. In the baghouse unit,the speed of facing filter should be reduced and controlled less than 1.0m/s.To ensure the maximum deviation of gas flow distribution in each baghouse unit less than 10%requirement.In order to decrease the second attachment phenomenon,the updraft speed at the bottom of baghouse also should be controlled less than 1.5m/s.
