| With the rapid development of computer and network technology,the printing industry has entered digital age.The widespread application of CTP and digital print make digitizing control possible in printing process.The new technology will inevitably arouse many demands in operation and control aspects.With the change of technological principle,the traditional Control Strip can't be used for quality detection of computer to plate and printing process,therefore,we should design new methods to control quality during compute to plate process.However,the majority of printing enterprises are changing from traditional technology to digital technology. According to the enterprises' need of quality control,the perfect solution is to design a printing digital Control Strip that can be used for traditional process,but also used for compute to plate and digital print quality control.On the basis of studying platemaking and the quality control theory,under the development at the practicality and flexibility of Control Strip,the paper designed a Control Strip that can not only control the traditional printing process,but also used for digital workflow and digital print quality that is a digital Control Strip with using PostScript language.The paper did the digital Control Strip's practicality test in CTF and CTP workflow.In test process,estimated the digital Control Strip which developed by PostScript Language whether it can be used for controlling film,plate and print quality through compared to standard Control Strip's data,such as GATF, Kodak and Heidelberg.and amended the problem that appeared in test process.Finally,design and development the digital Control Strip can be used for controlling film,plate and print quality. The new Control Strip can be exported to PS,EPS or PDF file,and assembled,platemaked and printed with the job.The Control Strip can be used for supervising the printing product's solid density,dot gain,print contrast,ink trapping,grey balance,misregister,slurring,resolution and ghosting by using relevant module.Compared with other similar products,the Control Strip has improved practicality and flexibility.On the one hand,it was added module of spot color.On the other hand,it was used very easily,even if the users have never learned PostScript language.The module of Control Strip can be modified easily for the production process.The Control Strip designed in this thesis has highly practical value.This achievement also can be used for reference for the professional of print products' quality control. |
