With the progress of science and technology, embroidery machine industry has developed rapidly. Computer embroidery machine is one of the progress symbols of embroidery machine industry. However, there are some problems in the development of computer embroidery machine, which seriously affect the performance of the embroidery machine, resulting in a decline in quality of embroidery.The paper focuses on some key problems that exist in the computer embroidery machine, the main research results are as follows:(1) According to user's demand, custom commands are added, and vivi is configured and compiled.(2) The real-time problem of embroidery machine is studied. Considerations are taken both in kernel mode and user mode, the factors that affect the real-time are analyzed, and the solutions of improving the real-time of embroidery machine are applied to the development of embroidery machine.(3) The loss of step problem in embroidery frame motor is studied. Firstly, the reasons for the loss of step are analyzed, and the solutions of avoiding the loss of step are found; secondly, the drivers of embroidery frame motor are designed; in the end, a program is designed to verify the running performance of the embroidery machine.(4) The problem of the transmission of needle-bit control information between kernel mode and user mode is studied. Fristly, the modules of the needle-bit control information transmission both in kernel space and in user space are designed; secondly, three needle-bit control information transmission schemes are designed; in the end, the three schemes are evaluated.Through the studies of these issues, the solutions of these issues are applied to the development of embroidery machine. They increase the performance of computer embroidery machine, and improve the quality of the embroidery.
